Our Mission

Our mission is to educate and inspire children, teenagers, and young adults to be positive role models, and to speak out and stand up agains dangerous or destructive behaviors.

We plan a number of activities that educate children, teenagers, and young adults about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. Although the we work on many topics related to youth empowerment and leadership, this will be one of the organization’s ongoing focuses.

Who Is Ria

Meet Ria Patel. Originally from London, 20-year-old Ria was a finance major at the University of St. Thomas and a 2015 graduate of the International School of Minnesota. She was a smart, charismatic, fun-loving girl who lit up any room she entered

In the early morning of September 17, 2017, Ria was tragically killed in a vehicular homicide accident.

We Are Worldwide Non-Profit & NGO Organization

Every day, distracted driving causes hundreds of accidents in the United States alone. We at the Ria Patel Foundation aim to honor Ria's memory by ensuring that no one else has to suffer due to distracted driving.
